Short Bio

Khonika Gope is an Assistant Professor and a PhD candidate from Stanford University. Prior to joining Stanford, Khonika received her MBA from Goizueta Business School, Emory University, as a Fulbright Scholar. She received her MBA from IBA and BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

Broadly, her research interests focus on strategy and entrepreneurship. Particularly, she is interested in exploring the impact of institutions on entrepreneurship and innovation. Khonika has received numerous prestigious awards and scholarships, such as Fulbright Scholarship, Lieberman Fellowship, Stanford Centennial Teaching Assistant Award, Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (SEED) Ph.D. I-Award, Stanford Center for South Asia (CSA) Fellowship, Stanford King Center on Global Development Student Fellowship, Mckenzie Fellowship and Heitz Fellowship among others.
